On the theme of ‘Heroes and Heroines’ for children aged 7-11 years
Linking with the ‘Heroes and Heroines’ theme of National Poetry Day 2009

To link with the theme of National Poetry Day 2009, the Children’s Poetry Bookshelf is asking children aged 7-11 to write a poem on the theme of ‘Heroes and Heroines’.
Eligible age groups: 7-8 and 9-11
Poems must be no longer than 25 lines.
Submissions will be free, and can be emailed to us or sent by post, and will be accepted from Thursday 10th September 2009.
