Training courses on Appreciative Inquiry and Strength Based Coaching in 2010, grants available

In Dialogue is pleased to offer the following two residential training courses free of costs (follow
the links for more information)!

Trainings on strength based coaching in adult education and career guidance, September 2010
(www.in-dialogue.org/index.php?pagina=*strength-based-coaching-in-adult-education,-train)

Trainings on appreciative inquiry (AI) in adult education, October 2010
(www.in-dialogue.org/index.php?pagina=*appreciative-inquiry-in-education,-training
)

The trainings will be highly practical, as the participants' cases and concrete challenges are taken
as a starting point for learning. It is believed that the best way to learn strength based coaching
and appreciative inquiry is through working on concrete cases from the participants' own reality and
to get feedback on these attempts. Both courses will consist of a mix of short theoretical inputs,
concrete exercises, and group discussions.

These courses have been approved by the European Commissions' Grundtvig programme, as part of the
Life Long Learning Programme. This means that you can apply for a grant to cover course fees,
travel, board and lodging, given the criteria that you are living within the EU/EEA and working with
secondary education (Comenius programme) or adult education (Grundtvig programme). The grants are
thus available for teachers, trainers, consultants and other educational staff and/ or volunteers.

The deadline for applying, when using the Grundtvig or Comenius programme, is the 30th of April
2010, 12 p.m.

We like full courses for the sake of sharing of knowledge. We would therefore appreciate it very
much if you could forward this invitation to those you think have an interest. In case a course gets
overbooked, we are able to organise extra editions of that course.

If you are interested in staying updated on future trainings e.g. on coaching and the narrative
approaches, mail us, check our home page or connect with us on LinkedIn
(www.linkedin.com/groupRegistration?gid=2716718).

With kind regards,

Yvor Broer
